When the shoot rains off
The location shoot was lost to weather; the fashion pages still had to sing. So we drew the clothes instead.
Working from the stylist's rail and flat-lay photos, we illustrated each look with the exaggeration print allows — longer lines, bolder dots, a scarf forever flying. Readers loved the break from photography so much the title made illustrated fashion a seasonal fixture.
